Arc'teryx Konseal Pocket T-Shirt

The Arc'teryx Konseal Pocket T-Shirt in Habitat/Sea Salt is a high-output climbing layer that prioritises total freedom of movement during technical ascents. Utilising a specialized knit jersey that replicates the soft handle of cotton, this piece is engineered to maintain high levels of breathability while you work through demanding pitches. The fabric is integrated with a Silvadur™ antimicrobial treatment to effectively manage odour during long days on the wall, while the low-profile laminated zip pocket provides a secure, bulk-free storage solution for small essentials.

Our Style, Fit & Sizing Recommendations

• This shirt is designed with a relaxed fit, providing extra volume to facilitate cooling and dynamic movement
• Here at the store we recommend choosing your usual size for its intended airy fit

• The laminated pocket sits flat against the chest, ensuring it doesn't snag or cause pressure points when wearing a safety harness

Washing & Care Instructions

• Machine wash on a cold, gentle cycle to preserve the knit structure and Silvadur™ finish
• Use a mild liquid detergent and avoid fabric softeners, which can impair the moisture-wicking properties
• Hang to air dry naturally; the polyester knit is engineered to dry rapidly and resist creasing
• Do not iron or dry-clean, as high heat can damage the laminated zip and technical synthetic fibres

Our Arc'teryx Konseal Pocket T-Shirt FAQs

1. Does the fabric feel like a standard gym shirt?
No, it has a unique "cotton-like" texture that feels natural and soft against the skin while retaining the high-performance drying time of polyester.

2. Will the odour treatment wash out?
Silvadur™ technology uses silver ions that are deeply integrated into the fabric, providing long-lasting performance even after numerous wash cycles.

3. Is the pocket big enough for a phone?
The laminated pocket is designed for smaller items like credit cards, lip balm, or keys; most modern smartphones will be too large and heavy for this specific pocket design.

4. Is it durable enough for granite climbing?
While lightweight and breathable, the knit jersey is constructed to handle the general abrasion of climbing, though direct contact with sharp rock should be managed with care.
